Wild Fabrics: a day in Monsanto with Distinto and Tinctorium Studio

During this outdoor workshop, made in collaboration with Annette from Tinctorium Studio, participants learn how to:
select, cut and gather plants in the wild, guide
extract colors from the plants
use the plants to create patterns on the fabric with the eco-printing technique
make tie & dye + shibori to create patterns on the fabrics
Each participant dyes 2 wall-hangings using the eco-printing and natural dyeing techniques.
This workshop is completely outdoor : after a morning walk, we gather around an home-made and vegan pic-nique in the park of Monsanto, in Lisbon. Then, we dye in the outdoor dyeing-stations.
