NATURAL DYEING + ECO-PRINT
A day in the Forest of Monsanto, Lisbon’s green lung. We will teach you how to forage local plants and how to use them to dye fabrics with them, combining different techniques.
This workshop is in collaboration with Tinctorium Studio.
NATURAL INKS FOR SCREEN-PRINTING
Neste workshop tintas naturais e serigrafia, vamos juntar a produção de tintas naturais com o processo de impressão em serigrafia. Na primeira parte, vais aprender a fazer tintas naturais através da redução dos banhos tintureiros, bem como a preparar o tecido e papel para serem impressos.
Na segunda parte do workshop tintas naturais e serigrafia vais aplicar as tintas através de serigrafia, tanto em papel como em tecido.
MORDANT PRINTING
In this workshop, you will learn how to create an acetate for printing on fabrics - with screenprinting techniques or with a brush.
This workshop is doesn’t require previous knowledge, but is ideal for people who’ve already done the natural dyeing workshops and have knowledge about mordanting and dyeing.
NATURAL DYEING
No Workshop Tinturaria Natural iremos dar cor às fibras têxteis usando corantes obtidos de plantas tintureiras. Neste workshop serão usadas diferentes plantas, raízes, cascas e food-waste para tingir a peça decorativa que irás levar contigo.
Além de usaremos vários elementos para tingir, no Workshop Tinturaria Natural serão realizadas experiências com agentes modificadores de cor, mas também será criado um mostruário.
